Using the same instruments that interchangeably fit a complete system of studio and location generators, or self contained units.

Safety and total reliability
Many electronic safeguards are incorporated to ensure the generator is always ready to function, at its peak, for long periods of time. These implementations include Auto-diagnostic start-up circuitry, DDP pulse charging capacitor circuitry (for Deep Discharge Protection), temperature control and overload protection. Profoto’s unique “arc-free” twist-lock lamp head connectors are among the safest in existence. There is no need to shut down the generator to remove lamp heads. For total reliability, the generator and heads must be able to withstand heavy duty use without failure.
