grids for the Profoto D1 flash system have direct mounting
clips - no additional grid holder is needed.
This Profoto Honeycomb Grid provides a beam spread of 5, 10 or 20
when mounted on a Profoto D1. These self-contained grids have direct
mounting clips that mount directly to the built-in reflector for the D1 -
no additional grid holder is needed.
Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices
alter the shape and intensity of the light output from your flash heads.
Use of a grid will result in a small circle of light, when it is attached to
the front of your light source. The size of the circle of light will be
determined by the density of the honeycomb, its thickness, and the
distance of the subject. The smaller the degree number, the tighter
the circle of light.
